Please download and read Prospectus carefully before filling up the application form.



  1. Only those candidates who are residents of Punjab or Union Territory of Chandigarh are eligible for seeking admission to all Undergraduate, Masters’ and Diploma programmes except for MBA, M.Tech. (Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System) and self-supporting programmes for which admission wil be made as per following criteria:
    1. For MBA and M.Tech. (Remote Sensing & Geographic Information System) 85% seats for state domicile candidates and 15% seats for candidates of other states.
    2. In self-supporting programmes, 15% additional seats for the candidates of other states.
  2. International /NRI Candidates seeking Admission into PAU, consult PAU Prospectus 2024-25. Inter-alia, regarding number of seats/ reservation, and Rules & Regulations for admission, please consult page 48, 54-57.
  3. The candidates are advised to go through the Prospectus and study the admission rules carefully. The candidates should ensure that he/she fulfills the prescribed qualification for admission before filling the application form.
  4. The candidates who appeared or are appearing in the qualifying examination can apply but they must produce original mark sheets of qualifying examination result at the time of counselling failing which their candidature will not be considered for counselling.
  5. The candidates are advised to visit PAU website www.pau.edu regularly to see the updates uploaded by the University regarding adimission from time to time.
  6. A candidate can appear in different tests as per his/her eligibility by filling separate application form for each entrance test.
  7. Before submitting the application form, please re-check all details carefully. Form once submitted will not be corrected.
  8. The candidates who are applying for the programmes without entrance test have to pay fee amounting to Rs.2,000/- (Rupees two thousand) only
  9. Candidates desirous to appear in more than one Master's Test (MET), must ensure that there is no clash of entrance test dates.
